Response Time: We vote on scholarships at our monthly board meeting. Sometimes voting can take a longer or shorter time. You will hear from us by email when a decision is reached or if we have questions.
Recipients are asked to complete a survey following the program in order for BOAF to evaluate our impact and gain valuable metrics for our fundraising and marketing efforts.
Payment: Scholarships are provided by either (1) BOAF paying the business directly, or (2) BOAF reimbursing the parent/guardian for their purchase. If you paid out of pocket, proof of your payment MUST be provided to boltonoutdooradventurefund@gmail.com in order for us to reimburse you.
Placements: It is the scholarship recipient's duty to register for the product that is being funded. BOAF is not responsible for registering or requesting information from partner businesses about your enrollment.
Reservations: You are responsible for taking care of enrollment, communicating with the business providing your program, and letting us know the payment information - we'll pay the bill when it is ready!
